Expressionist oil paintings about perception, consciousness, and the unseen.
My painting practice is a space of emotional disclosure. I understand each work as an attempt to translate what cannot be said into visual form, giving qualia – the felt sense of “what it is like to be” – a temporary shape. I question how perception and consciousness can become colour, surface, and structure.

In my oil paintings, I explore how inner states, perception and consciousness can be translated into colour, surface and structure.

About me, or how I experience being:
Mountains turn into states, beings turn into questions, and the sky is not an “above” but an opened inner space
Rather than depicting the world, I ask under which conditions it appears to us as “world” at all – and how these conditions might shift.
